Virendra Sharma MP highlights Global Fund replenishment as the first big test for the Global Goals

On Wednesday 13 April our Co-Chair, Virendra Sharma MP, spoke in a Westminster Hall debate on implementation of the Global Goals, highlighting the need for investment in the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria if we are to realise Global Goal 3.3 to end the epidemic of TB by 2030.

At the current rate of progress, achieving this Goal will take at least 150 years rather than 15 and so investment in the Fund's Fifth Replenishment is crucial, especially as the Fund provides 75% of all international finance to the fight to end TB.
